In Conversation with Michael Nyman

MIFF programmer Nick Moore talks with minimalist composer Michael Nyman, who has written the scores for dozens of films including The Piano, The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover and The Draughtsman's Contract (showing this year at MIFF).

Also screening in this year's MIFF program is Peter Greenaway's ribald masterpiece The Draughtsman's Contract, for which Michael Nyman composed a haunting, baroque score.
