What's worse than Christmas? Easter, that's what, when Angela's relationship with Dan is thrashing out its death throes, amidst the flying bullets of verbal abuse and the occasional hurtled chocolate egg. He flees and she's left to hide under the bedclothes and face the fact that life goes on. A wry sitcom about bearing the universal cross of loving and leaving and trying to rise again from the dead ashes. There's a nicely ironic cap-off, some sassy one-liners, and another finely felt central performance from the talented Ms Fairfax.
