The End Room

Based on the story by Franz Kafka. An old man waits in a room while somebody repeatedly attempts to enter. Eventually, the door is forced open and a young man enters. The old man is resigned. He takes a small suitcase and leaves the room while the young man makes himself at home. Such is the cycle of life. Like a good short story this short film does a great deal with a simple yet potent idea.
