Dogs in Space goes to Paris.

A group of early-twenty-something Parisian girls party, pick up and hang out in this visceral and hilarious debut from Sophie Letourneur.

Hanging out in their shared apartment - or ‘The Ranch', as they call it - Manon, Lola, Pam and their procession of friends live every day as if it is their last, seemingly poised forever on the knife-edge of youth.

Pithy dialogue captures the lives of these 20 year olds with a terrifying realism, while non-professional actors give the film a loose and endearingly unkempt feel, belying the shrewd screenwriting that beautifully captures the minutia of the ‘permanent now' of the early twenties.

“If the late Eric Rohmer had directed an episode of Friends, it would look something like this.” - CPH:PIX Film Festival
