In the height of the Swedish summer, 15-year-old Emma joins a local riding club and becomes embroiled in a disconcertingly intense friendship with the slightly older Cassandra. Meanwhile, Emma's eight-year-old sister, Sara, vies for the sexual affections of her babysitter.
