"A bittersweet comedy about love and marriage, random fate and eternal youth ... highly original and delightfully unorthodox." – Hollywood Reporter

Across a span of 35 years, Max Youngman and his only friend Sal (Nick Offerman) pass through romances, businesses, rivalries and loss, as their lives are pulled together and apart by their love of the absent-minded Lyla. But it seems that Max doesn't age and the approach of everybody else's death is really starting to put a strain on his life.

A surreal mix of warmth, quirk, wry humour and offbeat animation, Somebody Up There Likes Me is the mesmerising new film from genre-bending auteur Bob Byington. A feel-good movie by way of a philosophical quandary, it's a rom-com turned existential musing and an out-and-out memorable film experience.
