MIFF Talks - Screenlife filmmaking with Timur Bekmambetov Unclassified: no age restriction
MIFF Talks presented by
Filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (Profile, MIFF 2018; Day Watch, MIFF 2006) presents a masterclass on the latest cinematic technique, ‘screenlife,’ an innovative approach where the film only takes place on a computer screen to tell a story through social media and internet platforms by way of the devices we use to communicate with each other every day. Profile is the first screenlife film Bekmambetov has directed, and he has also produced the screenlife films Unfriended (2015), Searching (2018) and Unfriended: Dark Web (2018).
Moderated by Bec Peniston Bird
