Director Neil Triffett on the MIFF Premiere Fund-suported World Premiere, Emo The Musical

One of six MIFF Premiere Fund films for 2016, EMO the Musical will have its world premiere at this year's festival. Written and directed by Neil Triffet, the film asks what happens when a brooding, moody high-school emo boy falls for a happy, God-loving Christian girl. We sat down with Triffet and find out about his sweetly satirical story about tolerance, individuality and harmonising.
