INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS

“This ain't your daddy's World War II movie.” - filmmaker Quentin Tarantino

Once upon a time in Nazi-occupied France, a rag-tag group of badass Jewish-American cowboys, led by the redneck, half-Apache Indian Lt Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt), gave Hitler's men their just desserts - ambushing, kidnapping and collecting scalps as trophies. At least they did in Quentin Tarantino's anarchic and blood-splattered version of history.

Returning to form with his gleefully violent trademark pulp mixed with liberal reimaginings of WWII, Tarantino puts the fear of God into the Nazis and brings down the leaders of the Third Reich.

“Starts like a spaghetti western and then accelerates into an old-fashioned wartime thriller… a surreal revenge fantasy where some of the most toxic villains in history get their grisly dues.” - Times
