A hypnotic, futuristic reimagining of a Buddhist folk tale that speaks to our chaotic moment.
Using a personal lens to capture the confusing time we’re living in, Parinda Mai’s ethereal short film reimagines the Buddhist folk tale ‘Twelve Sisters’ to find a generation adrift between mythical and earthly realms. Blinded by Centuries questions the effects of globalisation, technological progress and humanity’s place within an endless cycle of exploitation and destruction.
